Two things are not self-serve on the Backups page yet: pulling one file or one database table out of a copy, and downloading the archive itself.
Getting one file or table back
Open a ticket and tell us:
- the plan and the copy's date from the Backups history
- the file path, or the database and table name
- whether to put it back in place or hand it to you
We extract it from the archive and either restore just that item onto the plan or attach it to the ticket, without rolling back anything else.
Downloading an archive
Open a ticket naming the plan and the copy. We hand you the archive as a standard compressed file containing the account's files and database exports. A download button on the Backups page is on the roadmap.
Why the ticket
Archives are encrypted on the server before they leave it, and the key stays on phas infrastructure. Decrypting a copy to open it up is done by a person, on that infrastructure, which is why the request goes through support.
