phas.au

Domains that renew on time, at the going rate.

.au, .com.au, .nz and 500+ TLDs through one wholesale registrar, on the same account as your hosting. Every domain comes with a managed DNS zone, free email forwarding, and renewals you hear about a week before they're charged — never a teaser rate that doubles in year two.

Results show live availability and the real price — registering starts the checkout. Prices in AUD, no GST charged.

More than a name

A domain here isn't a line in a registry. It arrives with a working DNS zone and the things a small business actually needs from one, at no extra charge.

Free managed DNS

Every domain gets a Cloudflare zone, set up automatically, with an editor that checks each record when you save it.

Free email forwarding

info@yourdomain delivered to any inbox you already use — no mailbox to buy. Full mailboxes when you need them.

Redirects and a parked page

Point a spare domain at your main site, or show a clean "coming soon" page until the website is ready. No hosting required.

One account, one card

Domains sit beside your hosting, renew automatically on the saved card, and never lapse because an invoice went to an old address.

.au eligibility, sorted

We collect the ABN or ACN details the registry needs, check the format before you pay, and file them correctly for you.

DNSSEC in one switch

For domains registered here, enabling DNSSEC publishes the DS record at the registry for you. Nothing to copy anywhere.

How renewals work

Registry wholesale prices move occasionally, in both directions. We pass the current rate through and don't play teaser games on top — so here is exactly what happens.

~37 days out

You get the exact amount

An email with the renewal price for the extension at today's rate, a week before anything is charged.

~30 days out

Auto-renew charges the card

The card on file is charged and the registration extends. If the charge fails you hear about it straight away, with time to fix it.

any time

Or renew it yourself

A renew-now button sits on the domain's page throughout the renewal window. Prefer to leave? Unlock, take the transfer code, no exit fee.

Transferring in? A transfer costs one year's renewal and adds a year to your registration. DNS keeps answering during the move.

Common questions

Do renewals cost more than the first year?

Renewals are charged at the current price for the extension at renewal time — registry wholesale prices do change occasionally, in both directions, and we don't play teaser-rate games on top. You'll get the exact amount by email about a week before we charge, and you can renew from the domain's page any time inside the renewal window.

Does the domain come with email?

Email forwarding, yes — any address on your domain delivered to an inbox you already have, free, switched on from the zone page. Full mailboxes come from a provider; see the ones we recommend.

Is WHOIS privacy included?

We don't sell a separate WHOIS privacy add-on. .au rules require accurate registrant details, which are only used to run the domain. For .nz, individuals not in significant trade can ask us to hide their phone number and address from the public register.

Can I transfer a domain away later?

Any time, with no exit fees. Unlock it, grab the transfer code from the domain page and take it with you.

What do I need for a .au domain?

An Australian presence — usually an ABN, ACN, or a registered business name or trademark. We validate the format before you pay and file the details directly with the registry.

Do I need hosting to register a domain?

No — a domain can be registered on its own, and the parked page, redirects and email forwarding all work without a hosting plan. It just works even more smoothly alongside phas hosting, since we point the DNS at your site automatically.

Can I use my own nameservers?

Every domain comes with a free managed Cloudflare zone, but you're not locked to it — point the domain at your own nameservers whenever you like.

Your name is probably still out there.

Renewals are charged at the going rate for the extension, you hear the exact amount a week ahead, and with no exit fees you're free to leave later too.
